Karadykan Classic Washed

Single-origin and single-estate specialty coffee beans (also available as ground coffee aligned to each brewing method), grown in Karadykan Estate in the Bababudangiri hills of Chikmagalur, Karnataka. This SLN9 washed lot is mildly chocolatey with caramel, citrus, orange and toasted nuts, well suited to extract great espresso shots and some amazing moka pot brews.

Post-Harvest & Processing: Karadykan Estate — known locally as "Trishul" for the three hills that cradle it — still runs a century-old water wheel to power its wet mill. Ripe, hand-picked cherries are pulped using this hydro-powered mill, fermented in tanks for around 24–36 hours to break down the mucilage, washed clean in spring water fed from the surrounding hills, and sun-dried on raised beds for 10–14 days.
